Aprons4Alzheimers - Mission Statement

Aprons4Alzheimers is a non-profit organization that provides funds for Alzheimer’s respite care.

Funds are generated by the sale of the book “When Life Hands You Alzheimer’s, Make Aprons! A Daughter’s Journal of Her Mother’s Last Months” by Gwen O’Leary.

Funds are also generated by the sale of aprons that are hand sewn by the author and several volunteers throughout the country.

Gwen O’Leary has also designed three apron patterns to help generate funds for respite care. All three patterns come in one package.

Aprons4Alzheimers also seeks to support and educate caregivers. Several caregivers, doctors, and other medical professionals endorse this book and find it an important reading for all family members.
